An Unexpected Miracle

I usually share healing stories, whether miracles or amazing connections in consciousness, based on the healings that happen through me for others.  Recently, however, I decided to “practice what I preach,” and ask for healing energy on a regular basis for myself.

Energy healing feels so good to me, and I am so grateful for healing energy.  Healing energy seems to restore a sense of well-being emotionally, spiritually, and physically, at least as I experience it, especially when I ask for energetic healing about weekly.  When I do it more often than that, I know it has helped heal pain from carpal tunnel syndrome in my left wrist, as well as arthritis-type pain in my right hand.

Recently, I needed energy healing, and I needed it rather desperately, in a big way.  One Friday, I had gone walking with a friend for over an hour, at the spur of the moment, so I joined her for the walk despite the fact that I was wearing high-heeled dress sandals, which were not especially designed for the well-being of feet, legs, knees, etc. while walking.

After the walk, I discovered that I had developed a few blisters, and actually found a large blister on the ball of my right foot, which concerned me.  I didn’t have time to do much about it other than place a bandage on it.  That night, I led a meditation circle, and then prepared for leading a stress reduction workshop the next morning.

Saturday morning, I led the stress reduction workshop, and then went home and saw two clients.  At some point Saturday afternoon or evening, I realized my right foot was experiencing severe pain.  By the time I attempted to get to the grocery store that night, I was limping quite severely with extreme pain.

The next day, fortunately, my schedule cleared more than I would have normally liked, but this gave me time to pay attention to my foot.  I decided that the ball of my foot felt worse than a bruised bone, which I had experienced before.  Since it hurt even when I moved either of my first two toes using my fingers to move them, I decided that it might be a hairline fracture, which I have experienced before.

I did an internet search on stress fractures and metatarsal bones, and that seemed to explain everything, including the delayed reaction after the walk.

On Sunday, I did limp to go meet with some dear, long-time friends who were in town briefly.  Sunday night, my right foot hurt so badly that I could hardly stand to push it under the covers – encountering some resistance from the covers caused extreme pain.

Monday, I worked at home and considered going to the doctor, but then a client called for a last-minute healing.  While doing the healing for the client, I asked the Divine Source for healing for my foot.  I don’t normally ask for healing for myself when giving healing to clients, but because I needed the healing so badly, I felt desperate enough to ask.

After the client’s healing, I kept walking very carefully, which was very stressful for my knees.  That evening, I realized my foot was not hurting any more, and since my knees hurt from limping, I tried walking normally, and discovered that my foot no longer hurt at all!  While the previous night, I had experienced pushing my foot under the covers as causing torture, Monday night, when I pushed my foot under the covers, there was absolutely no pain!

The best part was that Tuesday was a very demanding day, complete with a lot of walking, and leading a vigil for the victims of the Orlando shooting followed by a meditation circle dedicated to healing from the tragedy.  So, by receiving the miraculous healing of my foot, I was able to serve others, which I would not have been able to do if my foot had still hurt as much as it had on Sunday.

A little miracle happened with my foot, and I am so grateful!  I went from feeling severe pain reminiscent of a hairline fracture, to having no pain at all 24 hours later!  How does that happen?  Our Divine Source and this Universe are amazing beyond belief, and fortunately for us, we are One with our Source and this whole beautiful Universe.  I am filled with awe and gratitude!

All I can say is that healing is real, and when we need it the most, the very best that is available to us can occur.  Now, is everything healed when we receive energy healing?  No, not necessarily; energy healing does not guarantee a “cure,” although it will clear our energy field, get our own life force energy flowing better, and raise our vibrations.

However, energy healing does not always lead to a miracle.  For instance, my knees continue to challenge me, as they have for about 39 years, but I believe that energy healing is a huge part of what has enabled me to overcome the perceived and painful limits of my knees in order to continue to serve as I am called to serve.

I am determined to continue to ask for healing on a regular basis so that my body, mind, and soul can be of greater service to Divine Spirit and also to others who need healing as well.

May it be so!

Love and Light,

Carol “Anandi”

About selfrealizationtherapy

I am a healer, life coach, author, and spiritual teacher. While I am ordained in the Christian tradition, I have also studied Eastern spiritual disciplines and practices, including Raja Yoga Meditation; Intuitive Coaching; Reiki; Falun Gong; and other forms of energy healing for both people and animals. I am available for distance healing and spiritual coaching via phone, Skype, WhatsApp, or Facetime; please email me at: to schedule a session. My goal is to assist you in connecting with your Higher Self to find fulfillment, peace, health, and happiness in life. I typically work with people for about six weeks, and then they either take classes with me and advance more, or simply go their happy way. While I cannot guarantee results, many clients find that in a few short weeks, more is accomplished than could be with years of traditional talk therapy. Born on the equator in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, I grew up moving back-and-forth between Africa and the United States my whole childhood and youth. We lived in three different countries in Africa, and three different states in the USA. I now live in Maryland, close to Washington, DC. I was widowed at the age of 28 when my 34-year-old husband died suddenly of a cerebral aneurysm that hemorrhaged, leaving me with an infant and a toddler. This crisis led me to believe that God loves us even when "bad" things happen, and also led me to pursue spirituality and become a minister. In 1996, thanks to "Autobiography of a Yogi" by Paramhansa Yogananda, and a meditation class called Raja Yoga, I started on an Eastern spiritual path, a journey which included becoming a healer and a mystic. On Thursday, May 27, 2010, I experienced what I call an Enlightenment Vision, in which I ascended and was blessed by Ascended Masters of many faiths: Master Lao Tzu, Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, Jesus Christ, Lord Buddha, Paramahansa Yogananda, High Priest Melchizedek, Lady Kwan Yin, Master Usui, and then by the Seven Archangels of the Seven Rays. After this vision, the teachings in Higher Consciousness began. Apparently, my crown chakra was opened, and direct contact with the Ascended Masters has been possible ever since. My message to everyone is: this is possible for you to achieve as well, although getting there is not necessarily quick or easy. With a Master of Divinity degree from Vanderbilt University Divinity School, a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Texas Health Center at Houston, and a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Texas Christian University, I perceive a unity in my readings in Eastern religions and in Biblical studies. As a result, I believe the original message of Jesus Christ was and is a call to Self-Realization, which may also be called following The Way (a term used in the book of Acts by very early "Christians," although they did not call themselves "Christians;" they called themselves Followers of the Way. The Way, or the Tao consists of the practice of peace and love in every moment, honoring the Divine Presence within ourselves as well as within others. The Way of early Christianity was a spiritual practice which similarly focused not on the material world, but on the practice of Divine Presence within the earthly realm. When we practice The Way, or The Tao, we become one with Divine Peace, Love, and even bliss. When we attain this, we experience the "Kingdom of God" or Reign of God, within ourselves, Nirvana or possibly Samadhi. Achieving this Way within each of ourselves is the only way we will be able to usher in the Reign of Divine presence among us all here on earth. The ultimate goal of The Way, and of Self-Realization, is the attainment of unity with the Divine Consciousness, or Buddha-Consciousness or Christ-Consciousness, within, and beyond our normal mortal mind. This Unity-Consciousness is eternal, but begins in the here and now. May it be so.
