When one is a student on the path to Self-Realization, one is taught to repeat the affirmation, “I AM,” as an affirmation that one is One with the Divine Self. Early on, when I would try to think this affirmation in my head during meditation, I merely struggled with the idea that I could be in any way connected with the Divine. The focus, for me early on, was still on self.
With my Enlightenment Vision, I became more aware of the presence of the Divine within me. The wonderful affirmation was given to me, “The very real presence of God is within me.” (Alternative version: “The very real presence of Love is within me.”)
Over time and with devotion and practice, I began to focus on the I AM of the Divine Self, instead of the I AM of the small self. I was even taught, by Jesus and other Ascended Masters, “There is no ‘me.’ There is only us.”
Eventually, when meditating on the I AM, I came to awareness of the fullness of the I AM. In other words, while meditating on the words, “I AM,” the conscious awareness that I began to experience is that the I AM is in everything and everyone. So the I AM became, in my mind, everything and everyone around me as well as the fullness of the universe and beyond.
There is no limit to the I AM presence. The truth is I AM. All else follows. I AM is all there is. We are part of the great I AM of God, the great I AM of the universe. You are, we are, we are all I AM. Everything that is, is I AM.
How beautiful it is to be part of the vast expanse of I AM.
Love and Light,
